The works being carried out on this project include the refurbishment and restoration of a residential complex consisting of 46 units at Airlie Beach, North Queensland. The development is situated in an elevated position that looks towards the Whitsunday Islands and the Airlie Beach foreshore.
The complex includes 18 one bedroom units, 15 two bedroom units, 8 three bedroom units, 4 three bedroom penthouse units and a managers residence. A swimming pool, spa pools, undercover car parking is provided for the use of residents.
Iqon took over the project when it was 70% complete after construction had stalled following initial developer / builder being terminated by the project funds manager Balanced Securities.
The works to be undertaken were significant as a number of defective works undertaken by previous builders needed to be rectified.
